The Questions Tab is located near the very top of your Insite report, just to the right of the Summary tab. Use this tab to see which of your communities are the strongest or weakest in a particular part of the tenant lifecycle, and to get a better idea of which aspects of that experience your tenants find most satisfactory.
Category Comparison Charts
At the top of this tab, you’ll see a set of charts: one for each of the categories that your currently selected survey type is being used to gauge. Each chart contains a graph, which tracks your average score in that category over the period of time you entered in the Date Picker, and two tabs labeled Strongest and Weakest. The Strongest tab shows you your two “strongest” communities in that category (i.e the communities with the highest average scores), while the Weakest tab shows you the two communities with the lowest scores in that category.
It’s important to note that Category Comparison Charts are only generated for categories tied to five-point questions (i.e. rated between 1 and 5). If a question is answered using percentages or pick lists, it does not factor into your scores on these charts.
Questions Score Breakdowns
Underneath the Category Comparison Charts, you’ll find a table that provides you with an in-depth breakdown of each question on your survey. The large gray numbers and percentages to the left of each question are average scores compiled from every response to them across all your communities. If an N/A appears next to a question rather than a number or percentage, it means that question required a more abstract answer that could not be quantified.
You can click on any question with a percentage or decimal next to it to see the percent of tenants who responded “yes” per community, or to see the average five-point score the question earned per community. Additionally, you can use the All Categories dropdown box in the upper righthand corner of this table to filter through the questions, and see only those pertaining to a particular category.
You can also use the search bars in these breakdowns to look up individual communities by name, or toggle the small arrows next to Community and Question Score to view either column in ascending or descending order. In all Score Breakdown windows, you’ll use the clickable arrows and Items Per Page box running along the bottom to navigate, expand, and shrink your view.
