Use the Review Trends Report to get a better idea of how your communities are being reviewed on ApartmentRatings, as well as how satisfied past, current, and prospective residents are with those communities’ performances across several categories.
Reviews Tab
The Reviews tab allows you to see how well your ApartmentRatings communities are being reviewed, both by month and by individual community. You can also use this tab to quickly gauge how happy residents are with your communities, and what percentage of them would recommend those communities to others.
Performance Overview Table
The Performance Overview Table at the top of this tab tells you how many reviews your communities have collectively received on ApartmentRatings within your preferred window of time.
It also provides you with several average Recommend Scores: an overall one for the window of time entered in the Date Picker (as represented by a large percentage under the words “Recommend Score”), and a separate score for each month within that window (as represented by the dots along the dark blue line on the graph).
Finally, if your community is participating in the Verified Resident Program (VRP) you will be able to see how many reviews you received from your residents.
Reviews Breakdown Table
Below the Performance Overview Table, you’ll find the Reviews Breakdown Table. From left to right, this table displays all the Dates by month that make up your preselected window of time (or all your ApartmentRatings Communities, if you click into the “By Community” tab at the top of the table), the number of New Reviews received within that month or community, a colored Sentiment Gauge reflecting residents’ level of satisfaction within that month or community, the average Recommend Score for that month or community, and finally the number of VRP Reviews received within that month or community.
Note that the Sentiment Gauges in this section provide visual representations of all new reviews received within a particular month or community, and as such may display several different colors at once. These colors fill the bar proportionally, denoting the number of 1 to 2-star (red), 3-star (yellow), and 4 to 5-star ratings received within that month or community.
You can also use the arrows and “Items Per Page” dropdown box at the bottom of this table to go to a new page and expand or shrink your view, or toggle the small arrows next to any of the bolded terms to view any column in ascending or descending alphabetical/numeric order.
