Updating Leasing Policies

The Leasing tab helps you give prospective tenants some insight into both your General Policies and Pet Policies.

General Policies  

 General policies appear at the top of the Leasing tab, and displays the community in question’s offered Lease Length and, if applicable, current Move-In Specials, as well as both its minimum and maximum Security Deposit fees. 

Pet Policies 

The Pet Policies section appears directly beneath the General Policies tab and can be used to let residents know exactly how pet-friendly your community is. Each policy in this section addresses a specific Pet Type, outlining potential factors like Pet Limit and Weight Limit, any Fee, Deposit, or Rent that might be required to house that pet, and any other Restrictions and Comments that could affect their presence in your community. 

If you’d like to add a new Pet Policy to your ApartmentRatings page, simply click the blue Add Pet Policy button in this section’s upper lefthand corner. If you’d like to remove a Pet Policy from your page, click the gray Remove Policy button in the bottom lefthand corner of the appropriate policy box.
