The Questions Tab is located near the very top of the Annual Report, just to the right of the Communities tab. Use this tab to see which of your communities are performing the strongest or weakest in a particular part of the Annual Survey, and to get a better idea of which aspects of those experiences your tenants find most satisfactory.
Category Comparison Cards
You’ll find a few small Category Comparison Cards at the top of this tab, each one of which tracks your Average Score in a particular category covered by the Annual Survey.
Inside each card, you’ll find your company’s score for a particular category inside a large yellow rectangle, as calculated by all the resident responses to questions belonging to that category on the Annual Survey being analyzed. Below these scores, you’ll see that each card also contains both a “Strongest” and “Weakest” sub-tab. The “Strongest” tab displays your two highest-scoring communities in that category for that survey, while the “Weakest” tab displays your two lowest-scoring communities in that category. You’ll also find the Average Score for each community outlined in these tabs in a colored box directly to the left of the community’s name.
Questions Breakdown Table
Beneath the Category Comparison Cards, you’ll find a helpful Questions Breakdown Table. This table lists out all the Questions you’ve ever asked residents on Annual Surveys, as well as the Average Scores for each of those questions as represented by the large numbers and percentages running along the left-hand side. Note that you can filter out the questions being displayed here using the “All Categories” dropdown box in the table’s upper righthand corner.
If an N/A appears next to a question rather than a number or percentage, it means that question required a more abstract answer that could not be quantified. If a bar graph icon appears next to a question rather than a number or percentage, it means that question required an answer via picklist.
You can click on any question with a number or percentage next to it to see a list of Communities and Question Scores, the latter of which tells you exactly how that particular question faired within an individual community.
You can also use the search bar in these pop-ups to search for a particular community by name, or use the arrows and “Items Per Page” dropdown box at the bottom of this table to go to a new page and expand or shrink your view. Toggle the small arrows next to any of the bolded terms to view any column here in ascending or descending alphabetical/numeric order.
Click on any question with a bar graph next to it to pull up a graph of tenant responses. These graphs feature one bar for each option included in their questions’ corresponding pick lists. Drag your mouse over any of these bars to see how many tenants selected that particular option.
