The Summary Tab allows you to quickly gauge your overall performance across all your communities, showing you each community’s Recommend Score on both ApartmentRatings and SatisFacts and comparing them to their city-wide averages for your preselected time period.
Overall Performance Table
The Overall Performance Table at the top of this tab shows gives you a better understanding of how your services compare to those of all the other property managers on SatisFacts, assigning you an Exceptional, Superior, Average, Warning, or Red Flag score based on all survey responses received. This is your individual Annual Score in the area, as represented by a number between 1 and 5. Scores of 4.50 and above are considered “Exceptional”; those between 4.00 and 4.49 “Superior”; those between 3.5 and 3.99 “Average”; those between 3.00 and 3.49 “Warning”; and those below 3.00 “Red Flag.”
This score is also represented visually by the horizontal dotted line running through the table’s main bar graph. The bars themselves represent your scores for each question category covered in your Annual Survey.
To the right of the graph, you’ll find several other key metrics, including the percent of Residents Very Likely to Renew Their Lease (located inside a blue progress circle); your Company Average score, which takes all your individual Annual Scores into account; and the Annual Index, which represents the average for all annual surveys within SatisFacts.
Finally, the Overall Performance Table calculates your survey’s Response Rate and Valid Email Coverage, both of which are represented by percentages and blue progress bars in the table’s bottom right-hand corner. The Response Rate denotes the percent of residents surveyed that have gone on to complete the survey, and Valid Email Coverage denotes the percent of email addresses provided by your Account Manager that were successfully sent survey requests.
Annual City Recommend Scores Table
Beneath the Overall Performance Table, you’ll find the Annual City Recommend Scores Table. This table compiles all your communities’ yearly SatisFacts and ApartmentRatings Recommend Scores in one place and shows you how they’re performing compared to the other SatisFacts/ApartmentRatings communities around them.
The bar graph at the top of this table can be used to visually display Recommend Scores for as many as seven communities at a time. Each community on the graph is represented by two bars, the left of which (blue) denotes its Average Annual Score on SatisFacts, and the right of which denotes its score on ApartmentRatings. The dotted blue line running through the graph represents the SatisFacts City Average for the city in which your community is located, and the dotted yellow line represents the ApartmentRatings City Average.
Remember that any of these figures can easily be removed from the graph by clicking the corresponding solid or dotted circle just below. To add or remove a community from the graph altogether, just check the blank box to the left of that community’s name in the table below.
To the right of those checkboxes, you’ll see a column that lists each Community by name, along with two other columns filled with their respective SatisFacts Scores and ApartmentRatings Scores. These scores are all displayed as percentages and denote the percent of residents who are likely to recommend a community to others.
Use the dropdown box in the Annual City Recommend Scores Table’s top left-hand corner to change the city being focused on.
You can also use the arrows and “Items Per Page” dropdown box at the bottom of this table to go to a new page and expand or shrink your view or toggle the small arrows next to any of the bolded terms to view any column in ascending or descending alphabetical/numeric order.
