The Questions Tab is located near the very top of the Date Comparison Report page, just to the right of the Summary tab. Use this tab to compare your performance in a particular area over two different date ranges, and to track the change in responses to individual questions on your Insite+ surveys.
- Category Comparison Cards
You’ll find two small Category Comparison Cards at the top of this tab, each one of which tracks your average score in a particular category over both date ranges. Note that the specific categories covered by these cards will vary depending on the Report Type you’re running.
As is the case with the other Date Comparison comparison graphs, the Newer Date Range is represented on these graphs by a blue line, while the Older one is represented by a yellow line. Hover your mouse over any dot along these lines to reveal your Average Score for that category at a particular day, week, or month within each range, and a bold percentage representing the change between the two. Keep in mind that either of these lines can be removed by clicking the words next to its corresponding-colored rectangle at the bottom of the graph.
Beneath the graphs, you’ll see that each card also contains both a “Strongest” and “Weakest” sub-tab. The “Strongest” tab displays your two highest-scoring communities in that category for both the Newer and Older Date Ranges, while the “Weakest” tab displays your two lowest-scoring communities in that category. You’ll also find the Average Score for each community (within the preselected range) outlined in these tabs in a colored box directly to the left of the community’s name.
- Questions Breakdown Table
Beneath the Category Comparison Cards, you’ll see a large table that lists out all the Questions you’ve ever asked on that survey type, as well as the change in scores for those questions as represented by the large positive or negative percentages running along the left-hand side. If you only wish to see questions pertaining to a specific category within an Insite+ survey type, simply select the appropriate category in the “All Categories” dropdown box in this table’s upper righthand corner.
Click on the large arrow to the right of a question here to pull up a community-level breakdown, which lists out all your communities by name and provides you with a Score Comparison for each one. These positive or negative percentages tell you how much that question’s score improved or declined within each community over your preselected date ranges.
Use the search bars in these breakdowns to search for individual communities, or use the arrows and “Items Per Page” dropdown box at the bottom of the table to go to a new page and expand or shrink your view. You can also toggle the small arrows next to the bolded “Community” or “Score Comparison” text to view your communities in either ascending or descending alphabetical/numeric order.
Lastly, it’s important to note that any pick-list style questions in this table will not have a large percentage to the left of them, and will instead display a bolded bar graph icon. Click into the breakdowns for these questions to pull up two bar graphs: a blue one displaying the most popular responses within the Newer Date Range, and a yellow one displaying the most popular responses within the Older one.
