The Communities Tab is located near the very top of the Insite Trend Report page, just to the right of the Summary tab. Use this tab to see which one of your communities has improved the most in a particular area, and which one has shown the biggest drop in improvement. You can also use this tab to quickly see how all your communities have been scoring across different (or all) Insite+ survey types on a quarterly, monthly, or yearly basis.
Since the Communities tab can be used to hone in on a single survey type at a time, you’ll want to make sure to first select the appropriate one in the dropdown box at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can select “All Surveys” here to pull up performance change data across all Insite+ survey types.
Biggest Gain and Drop Cards
Underneath the dropdown box, you’ll find two small cards: one displaying the community with the Biggest Gain over your preselected time period, and another displaying the community with the Biggest Drop.
Not only do these boxes display the names of the communities with the biggest drop and biggest gain, but they also display the degree to which they gained or dropped Year Over Year, Quarter Over Quarter, or Month Over Month via a percentage, with gains being highlighted in green and drops being highlighted in red.
Beneath the community names and percent changes on these tables, you’ll find two more numbers: one displaying each community’s Insite+ Score for the date selected in the second dropdown box at the top of the Trend Report, and another displaying their scores for the year, quarter, or month before that.
Community Trend Scores Table
Beneath the Biggest Gain and Drop Cards, you’ll find the Community Trend Scores Table. This table displays all your SatisFacts Communities, as well as their Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly Scores for a particular Insite+ survey type.
Note that these scores are all displayed in different-colored boxes, with scores of 4.50 and above considered “Exceptional”; those between 4.00 and 4.49 “Superior”; those between 3.5 and 3.99 “Average”; those between 3.00 and 3.49 “Warning”; and those below 3.00 “Red Flag.” Exceptional scores are denoted by a dark green color, Superior scores by a lighter shade of green, Average scores by yellow, Warning scores by a light shade of red, and Red Flag scores by a deep red.
To the right of your Insite+ survey scores, you’ll see a column filled with percentages. These represent your Year Over Year, Quarter Over Quarter, or Month Over Month Change for each community (depending on the selections you made in the Date Picker). Note that positive percentages denote improved performance, while negative ones denote a drop in performance.
You can also use the arrows and “Items Per Page” dropdown box at the bottom of this table to go to a new page and expand or shrink your view or toggle the small arrows next to any of the bolded terms to view any column in ascending or descending alphabetical/numeric order.
