Response Status Table
From left to right, the main Response Status table displays a clickable checkbox next to each review, the Post Date and Response Status of each review, the ApartmentRatings Community that each review pertains to, and the Rating the community was given in that review. The source column provides you with the website from which the review was posted and, if clicked, the link will direct you to the original review page on the source website.
There are four different Response Statuses that a review can have. Reviews labeled Pending Response still require a response from one of our industry experts; those labeled Pending Approval have received a response but still require approval on your end; those labeled Approved have received a response from our experts and been approved on your end; and those labeled Posted have been approved and posted online.
To approve one or more Pending Approval responses from the table, simply click their corresponding checkboxes and click the blue Approve button in the table’s upper lefthand corner. You will then be greeted by a Bulk Response Approval pop-up asking you to confirm your decision.
To see the details of a particular review or response, click on its corresponding Post Date (highlighted in blue). You’ll then be taken to a window where you can view the original Review by Resident, our industry expert’s Proposed Response, and the review’s Response History, which outlines all the responses and response modifications made for that review. You’ll also find a highlighted link at the top of this window that takes you to the Community Page for the community that the review in question pertains to.
To edit a response, click the dropdown arrow in the blue Approved box in the bottom right hand corner of this window’s Proposed Response section. The response will then appear in a large text box, in which you can add, remove, or edit parts of the response accordingly. Note that all responses have a 2000 character limit. When you’re finished with your edits, just click the blue box again (it’ll now read as Send as Approved) to approve the response for posting.
